Campus-Community Solutions to Collegiate High-Risk Drinking

Abstract

NU Directions at the University of Nebraska, Lincoln is one of ten "A Matter of Degree" sites funded by the Robert Wood]ohnson Foundation and administered by the American Medical Association. The program focuses on the use of campus,community coalitions and a comprehensive approach to create change. In this article, the authors discuss the challenges , benefits, and lessons learned in creating a partnership between the campus and the community in order to reduce high,risk drinking.
