A Learning Community for Professionals: The New Engineering Curriculum

A major change in the structure of the basic engineering curriculum and the way it is evaluated by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) has commenced, bringing together teachers from engineering, science, and the humanities in a new learning community. ABET will be accrediting all engineering curricula by the year 2000 on new criteria that encompass objectives not now easily assessed. Drexel University has responded with a new program called, "An Enhanced Educational Experience for Engineers (E4)."Downloads
