Project Refocus: A Dynamic Partnership of Business, Labor, Government, and Higher Education

Abstract

Project Refocus, the University of MissouriKansas City's long-term, cross-sector collaborative project brings together business, labor, government, and higher education to address the issues of changing employment needs and retraining of laid-off workers. This worker reentry program has been in place for almost 15 years, surviving a multitude of fimding changes and accumulating an award-winning record of service.
